Website and Research

DEEWR required the services of an expert consultancy to review and develop a new website that met the information and user interaction objectives of the Department and to take advantage of new and emerging technologies. CouchCreative was selected via a competitive pitching process and subsequently completed a comprehensive website design, accessibility and usability project incorporating three major Departmental portals and over 80 unique URLs.

A national research and analysis program was executed via stakeholder interviews, focus group testing, eye tracking useability and accessibility analysis, information architecture and the development of working prototypes.

The results of this program provided CouchCreative with the necessary information to redesign the site. Our team is currently assisting the Department with the development of the new site, related program sites and their subsequent integration onto the Department’s content management system, Sharepoint.
