Vivid National Photography Festival

Australia’s first ever national photography festival was held in 2008 to celebrate the vital role photography has played in developing Australia’s life and history. CouchCreative was engaged to develop the Vivid brand strategy, oversee launch activities, create promotional and advertising materials and to construct a digital presence for the festival.
CouchCreative later extended its relationship with Vivid to encompass the management of PR and media relations and subsequently was able to negotiate over $250,000 worth of unpaid media coverage.

A broader objective was realised as the festival successfully positioned Canberra as a rich and lively cultural destination that forms the underbelly of the national art scene.
