Surf Life Saving Australia
Annual Report
Surf Life Saving Australia (SLSA) engaged CouchCreative to design, edit and produce its 2008 Annual Report. SLSA wanted a stylish report that would stand out from the others, one which explored various creative possibilities and abandoned the frequently banal look and feel of the regular statutory required document.
CouchCreative adopted SLSA’s approach of ‘whatever it takes’ while embracing the challenge and used sophisticated elements of graphic design to create a report that manages to captivate the reader’s attention whilst simultaneously serving as an didactic point of reference.

Despite a tight time frame and a challenging brief, CouchCreative exceeded expectations and delivered an original design printed on environmentally friendly, recycled stock. The report has subsequently been nominated for various industry awards.
